Terms & Conditions of Service

Quotes & Variations

  1. Unless otherwise stated – Labour prices are quoted for work carried out Monday-Friday between 6.00am-3.00pm. After hours and weekend rates may vary. Please advise if you would like your quote revised to reflect work outside of standard business times.
  2. Urgent / Same Day call-out charges apply at various rates dependant on the day and time of the requested job. We will always disclose this to you prior to One Repair & Maintenance attending, this may not be in writing, but verbally over the phone – all of our business calls are recorded.
  3. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date displayed. After this time prices may be subject to increase due to supplier price rises or based upon increases of the consumer price index.
  4. Quotes are provided for estimation purposes only and are not a guarantee of final cost of services.
  5. Quotes are based on current information, often supplied by the customer. As work is carried out, new information may come to light and variations are possible.
  6. Any variations or additional faults found upon inspection by One Repair & Maintenance will be notified to you and will require recorded approval before any work that is not specified in the quote is undertaken or any further charges applied. Where possible we will request a signed or written approval. Occasionally variations and approval may only be discussed over the phone – all business calls are recorded for this purpose.


Pre-Bookings & Cancellation Policy

  1. Service/Repairs that are quoted in advance require a 50% deposit in order to confirm your booking and for the necessary parts to be ordered (not applicable to customers under a signed service agreement). This deposit is non-refundable unless One Repair & Maintenance advise that we are no longer able to provide the service.
  2. If you must cancel your booking for any reason we kindly ask for as much notice as possible. You are entitled to reschedule at any available time within the following 30 days without incurring changes to your quote.
  3. If you fail to show for a scheduled booking without notifying us prior, a $200.00 cancellation fee will apply.
  4. If you choose not to reschedule with One Repair & Maintenance within 30 days of a cancellation your deposit will be forfeited (unless you choose to follow conditions of clause B5 – see below).
  5. Alternatively, you may choose to pay (within 10 days of cancellation) any remaining balance for parts listed on your quote or invoice and then collect these from our workshop in Stapylton. In the case that the deposit paid is in excess of parts listed on your quote or invoice, the difference will be reimbursed minus a cancellation fee of $150.00.
  6. All field service bookings are subject to weather conditions and site accessibility. While we will always endeavour to provide as much notice as physically possible before amending bookings, One Repair & Maintenance reserve the right to withdraw or postpone field service bookings at any time if related to weather and/or access obstructions; whilst maintaining all other clauses of Section B.


Collection of Vehicles/Assets

  1. You will be notified on completion of services that your vehicle/asset is ready to collect. You must organise to collect your asset from One Repair & Maintenance within 72 hours, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  2. If not collected within the agreed time frame a storage fee of up to $250.00 per day will apply for up to 7 days.
  3. After 7 days from the agreed pick-up date has passed – the vehicle will be moved to public roadside parking and you will be notified of the specific location. The vehicle will be locked and keys will remain with One Repair & Maintenance awaiting collection unless otherwise requested in writing.
  4. While we will ensure the vehicle is parked legally, One Repair & Maintenance waive any responsibility for abandonment and/or fines of any other kind that may be incurred.
  5. Please be aware that once a vehicle is removed from One Repair & Maintenance property it is no longer covered under our insurance against damage or theft.


Invoices & Payment Terms

  1. New customers, where One Repair & Maintenance is attending an urgent / same-day call out will be required to pay the initial call-out charge via card upon our arrival and before any work is commenced.
  2. For all customers, on completion of service, you will be required to pay, in entirety, the remaining balance of your invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing under a signed service agreement or 30-day trade account.
  3. On occasion One Repair & Maintenance may choose to extend invoice terms under written contract, up to a maximum of 30 days from the end of the month in which the invoice is dated. Your agreed payment terms and due date will be displayed on your invoice.
  4. Payment terms may or may not include mutually agreed upon instalment plans. Where instalment terms or due dates are not met, the full amount outstanding will become due immediately and revert to all standard terms and conditions listed here.
  5. One Repair & Maintenance reserve the right to charge up to $15.00 on any invoice that reaches 7 days overdue, and every 7 days thereafter that an invoice remains unpaid.
  6. Customers under a service agreement or 30-day trade account that reach 10 days overdue will be placed on hold – no further works will be carried out or booked in advance until outstanding payments are received in full.
  7. Overdue amounts beyond 12 days are eligible to be passed on to a collection agency and may be listed on the credit bureau database.
  8. In addition to the weekly overdue fees, all additional fees incurred by One Repair & Maintenance in the recovery of overdue amounts will be charged forward to the customer.


Title of Goods

  1. The title (ownership) of parts and products listed on the invoice remain with One Repair & Maintenance until payment in full is received.
  2. One Repair & Maintenance reserve the right to enter any premises where assets are located for the sole purpose of re-claiming possession of goods where payment has not been received, even where parts are already installed.


Warranty & Disputes

  1. No dispute in regard to the services completed by One Repair & Maintenance will be entered into after 7 days from the date of the invoice.
  2. In the event of catastrophic failure of the specific repair carried out, within 7 days of completion; the purchaser will be entitled to corrections at no additional cost.
  3. One Repair & Maintenance labour is warranted for a maximum of 7 days from the date of services completed. Unless in exceptional circumstances where it is found One Repair & Maintenance to be at direct fault of future vehicle/asset failures within 30 days from the date of services completed.
  4. All parts and product warranty will be passed to the customer as per OEM or relevant supplier warranty terms and conditions.
  5. In the event of any dispute, items listed on the invoice that are not in question under the current dispute must be paid for in full under the original payment terms and due dates.
